Camp Alpha, held at Hacienda Tovares in Querétaro, Mexico, just three hours north of Mexico City, brought together 50 youth participants aged 13 to 19 for a three-day basketball camp. The event featured mindfulness activities, team-building exercises, basketball skills and drills led by world-class trainers and athletes like Deshaun Malik, Tyler Currie, Mitch Thompson, and Devin Williams, as well as creative workshops. Participants also enjoyed additional activities like a mud track, bonfire, scavenger hunt, and late-night games on the court. The camp was sponsored by Eleva and Legado Innvictus. The Give and Grow hosted a special workshop for 25 youth, where they customized WNBA Wilson basketball planters and engaged in meaningful conversations about the lessons learned from basketball. It was an incredible weekend, and we look forward to being part of it again next year!
