In March 2024, The Give and Grow partnered with Buckets and Borders to celebrate the renovation of an outdoor basketball court in San Pancho, Mexico, with a lively community event. Hundreds of locals gathered for the court's reopening, which featured a basketball tournament between six local teams. As part of the celebration, The Give and Grow hosted a special basketball planter workshop for 20 local women, aged 19 to 65. Led by Andre Padron, the workshop began with a mindfulness session incorporating breathwork, imagery, and meditation, followed by the women customizing floral bouquets in Wilson WNBA basketball planters. The day was a beautiful celebration of community, empowerment, and the unifying power of sports and plants.
